The morotai is main island in north Maluku,east Indonesia. Located in zone of halmahera. During the 15th century,the morotai is overtaken by sultanate of ternate. In 1571,the gospel team of portuguese preach of the bible but sultanate through them out because the rules only allowed one religion only.

The morotai has 5 district,the border of north is pacific ocean and the border of west and east are halmahera sea,but the border of south is morotai strait.

have you heard when moses separated and split out the sea?you can see separated sea water here.  In the south of morotai,these are mini island,called small dodola and big dodola. Between of them only separated by shallow sea,when the wave is low,the sea water will split out and sand will appear to connecting both island. 

You can go on foot from one island to the other,dodola island has facilities like three hotel,snorkeling,or even scuba diving to see wreck of ruin ship from word war 2. It is near from capital city,you can use speedboat to reach another island.

In the south of morotai,there is posiposirao island who has coffee stone standing above the sand. Coffee stone is coral with plant on above and the stone can spread out the coffee aroma. The aroma can be smell from 10 meter distance,the strange point is the plant above the rock is not coffee plant,the coral its is not coffee kind too. So where the source the aroma come from?that still a mystery.

The native said aroma of coffee can be smell only at 08:00-10:00 am and 15:00-17:00 pm. The other said to smell the aroma,our attitude must be calm without doing anything noisy near that stone.
