Cendrawasih is rare bird of family paradiseidae,they are found in east Indonesia and australia,but most of them can be found in Papua island. This family have divers color and complicated long hair,the bird can grow up to 110 cm. In the cultivate period,the male always move the tail to attract the woman.

This bird live on the three and very seldom walking to ground,because the beauty of tail hair and color,this bird has a name bird of paradise. In 20th century,the tail hair of this bird is taken and export to europe,then they make high quality female hat with that as amazing ornament.

The native of Papua always use the tail hair of cendrawasih as an accesories for traditional uniform and this bird also become a mascot of Papua. Because always be hunted and damaged of environment. Now this bird already become endangered animal.
