Saman dance is one characteristic of
gayo ethnic,Aceh district,north Sumatra. This dance is full symbol of islamic
preach like : solidarity,politeness,unity and cooperation,played by 8-10 male
or female and 2 person who guide a sign.

This dance is for commemorate the
birth of Prophet Muhammad. Played without music instrument,just with clapped of
hand to hand and hand to chest. So all the dance member must have good
concentration,focus also synchronize to another.
