Salak mountain is a volcano
mountain,located in border between district Bogor and Sukabumi. This has 2 top,
2.221 meter and 2.180 meter from sea surface,the top has active crater. This
mountain surround by abrupt cliff and dense forest with thick dew.

This mountain has worst reputation
because all accident of aeroplane and the missing climber was happened here. Last

In the low mountain teritory,there is
pura or worship place for hinduism,called pura parahyangan agung
jagatkarta,means world of sacred perfect God,and it is the second greatest
pura. This pura was build to commemorate Prabu Siliwangi,he is the last king of
padjajaran kingdom.

According to ancestor,this area is
location of pakuan padjajaran city,it is a main capital of sunda galuh kingdom
in 16 century. This is the place where the king and the soldiers suddenly
disappeared. This pura was build in 1995 by people of hinduism in indonesia,and
people always visit to see ngenteg linggih ceremony or official announcement of
inauguration.
